Issue 16: May-Jun 2019 – Renzioni

Not Your Ordinary Go-Getter

Lawrence Renzioni has a number of certifications in his office, a touch of this and that spread around his environment, showing an all-rounder ability. By the time of this interview, Renzioni was preparing to travel to receive another certification from the Arabian Wedding Academy! He is currently also pursuing another qualification with the British Wedding Planning establishment. He is determined, and is clearly not one to limit his abilities. This is a man whose hands are gifted in the way of making dreams come true for those who want to have the time of their life. In his words, “whether it is a small or big event, my touch ensures that it will be the exceptional talk of the town because it will be that good!”

Getting into Miss Uganda

The Miss Uganda involvement was merely a case of a chain reaction. For example, if you were Miss Uganda, automatically no matter how bad you feel, you have to look out for the next Miss Uganda. So, they have a Hall of Fame – an Academy of Queens. They called on all the available former Miss Uganda to come on board and be part of it. Now Ella [Nambugwe] was given a big chance. She had just come back from Nigeria – she had also broken into Nollywood, making Nigerian movies. Big Brother was a platform for her to get into acting. She came back from filming one of the movies last year because she had lost her older sister. When Miss Uganda came up, the Queen Mother, Brenda Nanyonjo called her and asked her to be a part of what was being done.”
